Irish Destination Wedding Inspiration
I literally can’t think of a single thing in this styled shoot I didn’t immediately fall in love with. The venue, the flowers, the gowns, the dessert table… all of it is utter perfection. And it’s in Ireland?! It’s pretty difficult to top that, I’d say. Paula O’Hara, Alise Taggart, and Floral Earth far surpassed our expectations with this one.
From the event stylist, Alise Taggart: The shoot took place at The Millhouse – it’s an old Georgian style home full of beautiful rooms and grounds – but what makes it different from the norm country home in the Irish countryside is the Old Mill that is in front of it. It’s very unusual to the shoots Paula and I normally do together as it’s not a very wild feel which we’re normally drawn to. I love this shoot though and the way it turned out – The Old Mill offered a completely different take on weddings, it’s one of the only industrialized styled venues that I’ve seen yet in Ireland. I loved the exposed brick and wooden beams and concrete floor, so we choose bohemian and vintage style gowns and a soft color palette of muted blues and greens with pops of color in the flowers.

What lovely inspiration and details!! I adore the ceremony area with all of the candles and the usage of the bureau. All of the greenery is gorgeous and I just love the cheese wheel cake!
