New Year’s Eve Wedding with Chic Festive Greenery

Bedeck us with cascading greenery, holiday glamour and dogs of honor and we are, well, whipped. Aireana and Joshua’s gorge New Year’s Eve wedding is doing all the right things. Her sexy beaded Galia Lahav gown makes a sparkling statement of its own (even against the bright whitewashed wood of the venue!), and we are totally obsessed with the romantic ambiance brought to life with florals and foliage from Haute Floral. From the photographer, Callie Manion: When I first met the bride, Aireana, she told me she wanted a New Year’s Eve wedding because she wanted to “ring in the New Year” by getting married to the love of her life, and then celebrating that commitment and the holiday with all of their most cherished friends and family. How romantic!

The bride and groom are a fun, slightly untraditional couple. They even chose to include their five beloved dogs as part of the ceremony. I loved Aireana’s chic and elegant aesthetic and the way she was able to transform The White Sparrow Barn into her own, personal vision. She worked closely alongside Houston wedding planner, Mary Rios, to execute her wedding perfectly! The venue was filled with beautiful wooden pews and then decked in festive greenery with hundreds of feet of handmade garlands lining the aisles for the ceremony and cascading down the banisters. Wreaths, flowers and candles everywhere made the whole space feel enchanting. Everything turned out so beautifully and I was so honored to be there to capture the day for the beautiful couple!

As the celebration continued into the night, spirits and treats were brought to guests on trays to keep the party going. The couple even treated their guests to a giant-sized version of Jenga and Connect Four to keep them entertained. Then when the clock struck midnight, this beautiful wedding day ended in a spectacular fireworks display, which no New Year’s Eve celebration is complete without!
