Intimate Backyard Wedding at Bride’s Family’s Home

Backyard weddings always hold a special place in our hearts, especially when they’re held at parents’ homes. Jen and Matt exchanged I Dos in front of a small barn on the property, and then kicked off the party with romantic and rustic details aplenty. From the wedding planner, Cherry Blossom Events: Jen and Matt’s elegant back yard wedding was filled with personal details to show each of their guests how truly special they are to Jen and Matt. Jen’s family’s home was the perfect setting to bring their vision of a rustic but elegant affair to life. The ceremony focused in front of the small barn on the property was the perfect backdrop to the Chuppah that Matt build for his bride. The intimate celebration was stunningly beautiful wood harvest and vintage china but also laid-back and welcoming to their 100 guests.

The cocktail hour took place on the deck of the home overlooked the wooded area of the property while a jazz trio played in the background. Then guests transitioned to a sailcloth tent for dinner and dancing. The personal touches like notes to each guest serving as their place card and vintage windows Jen and Matt had collected serving as the seating chart and a guest book made their wedding day so unique and reflective of the two of them. The night ended with a packed dance floor as the couples friends jammed on stage. It was a perfect end to their fairy tale day.
