Have you ever thought to elope to an old Venetian villa, standing on the top of the hill above bluest Ionian sea wherein 19’s century loved to walk Austrian prince Franz Joseph with his beloved Elizabeth, well-known as princess Sissi? It was the biggest story of love!

Sun is rising, beautiful bride, Alexia, is getting ready for the most fairy day in her life. She woke up at her beautiful bedroom with vintage furniture which was in Achillion Palace, a summer residence of the royal family in Greece.

The huge marble bath tube where our bride spent her morning was owned by the princess as well.

Ocher Corfu island… Yellowish buildings, autumn’s feel. The inspiration for that day came in a really natural way. Beautiful Rara Avis bridal gown literally was created for this day and for this venue – clouds of silk, chiffon with flower details perfectly matching with the color palette. And handcrafted veil, sprayed with beads flowers, completed the total bridal look. As for the accessorize we chosen golden tiara from NCh wedding – hard to find more royal’s jewelry!

Interior of Villa Ekaterina gave us direction for the entire wedding styling – velvet fabrics, vintage tableware, old gravures, and styled paper goods. Designer Yulia Kastromina created handcrafted paper for the wedding invitation, place cards, and ceremony vows. Her beautiful calligraphy was looking like letters of those ages.

Leonidas Rammos, floral designer, created sophisticated floral arrangements with carnations, David Austin’s roses, dahlias and touches of berries.

Dusk came to the villa. Alexia and Yannis said the most important words to each other in the beautiful villa’s garden overlooking on the island and the sea. Words of love and fidelity. Like, prince, Franz Joseph promised to his Elizabeth, to his Sissi almost two centuries ago…
