With Aurélia Boulenger at the helm of design and planning, the decor takes its cues from the hand-painted frescoes ornamenting the interiors of this timeworn estate. Swirly scribbled fonts, upholstered Louis chairs, a bas relief cake… The florals from La Maison Dautel flowed into the scene like honey – soft, sweet, yet totally sure. Of course, such photogenic surroundings call for equally show-stopping fashion, and Daalarna delivered! We won’t keep you from these visual treasures captured by Claire Eyos any longer, don’t worry. It’s time to see some 21st century magic in a 19th century estate!

From the Planner & Designer, Aurélia Boulenger: This styled shoot was inspired by Château de La Canière itself. When discovering this venue we absolutely loved its beautiful blue rooms with all those paintings. So, the goal was to create a spring wedding inspiration that would highlight everything that makes this venue special both indoor and outdoor. For the stationery, Samantha Meyer really worked with this inspiration and summarized everything that we love about this venue in one stationery suite.

Regarding the looks of the bride, we chose one bridal gown from Daalarna for the ceremony and one Haute Couture gown from Tony Ward. For the second look, the Haute Couture gown was not designed for a bridal look but when seeing it, it felt obvious that it would look stunning as a bridal gown.

We adore the way this vendor team preserved the splendor of this former place of retreat, while simultaneously infusing it with modern sensibilities that appeal to today’s couples.
