Winona Lake Elopement
As we slowly shift gears to cozying up for Fall, this elopement from our very own Amy’s sister is the perfect way to kickstart our Fall weddings. When you come across an elopement this sweet, it can be pretty tempting to throw away all of your seating plans and spend your wedding day with just your honey like Chloe and Evan chose to do with their adorable baby. One of the few witnesses of their nuptials was Colagrossi Studio, who was there to record all of the day’s sweetness for posterity.
From the bride, Chloe: I was interested in a vintage styled wedding with a rustic feel. It was important for me to keep things simple and elegant, yet fun. Some adjectives that describe the look of my wedding would be rustic, vintage, woodsy, bohemian, and elegant. There wasn’t necessarily a color scheme, but I did incorporate soft, blush pinks into both my flowers and high-heels. Most of the wedding was DIY, from my floral headband to the ceremonial arch decor. We made a bohemian-styled tent from multicolored blankets that draped over tree branches, along with several decorative paper projects.
Flower recipe: Spray roses, echinacea pods, billy balls, lisianthus, seeded eucalyptus, overtime babies breath, waxflower.
Any advice for couples planning their weddings now? There are so many decisions to be made when planning your wedding, so remember to take a deep breath and slow down when you need to. The ultimate goal of your wedding should be to enjoy yourselves, each other’s company, and to celebrate the love that the two of you share.

Their just married bicycle is adorable! Love the groom’s face after the balloons floated away and that they walked behind the guitar player.
Chloe and Evan were made for this-everything is perfectly tailored just for them from the amazing dress, headband, gorgeous flowers and Evan’s suit-beautiful and yet playful and elegant!
This is so lovely. I especially love their first look and all those leaves catching on the train of her dress! Just beautiful!
