To say we adore this organic Blue Ridge Mountains wedding inspiration at The Ivy Rose Barn is an understatement. Maroon colored smoke bush, delicate hydrangeas and ethereal lunaria are just a few of the botanical elements that Wild Fleurette artfully composed to transform the minimalist greenhouse space into an unruly foliage wonderland. Enhancing the story further is hand-painted elements reminiscent of artwork from the Old Masters – the perfect partner for Monarch butterfly accents peppered throughout! All the spectacular details from the vintage inspired wedding dress to the modern garden-forward table design were conceptualized AND captured by none other than Nicole Colwell Photography. From the Photographer, Nicole Colwell Photography: Tucked away in the Blue Ridge Mountains is a new venue The Greenhouse at Ivy Rose. This beautiful structure is a space we created for our couples at The Ivy Rose Barn. We were so excited to showcase this space!
The shoot we designed is showcasing the natural beauty of the greenhouse and its surroundings.We wanted to slowly transition into fall but not have it look like the typical red, orange fall shoots you see. We went with sage, white, black and accents of a smoke rust/maroon color in the florals. Our table design is neutral and organic really adding to the space and not taking away from the structures beauty.
We played off of our floral farm with having real preserved butterflies in our flatlays, showcasing the fresh cut florals and their names and having our bride showcase one of her talents..painting.
