I’m fairly certain today’s desert bridal session could turn anyone into a colorful wedding dress fanatic. With vintage frills, utterly femme hues and a cacti-dotted landscape, we are itching to know more of this flirty bride’s story. Courtney Leigh Photography captured these stop-you-in-your-tracks portraits in the Arizona desert, and we are giving a standing ovation to her direction + choice of location. Are these nature backdrops even real?! Fun fact – the house they shot at was actually designed by the famous architect Frank Lloyd Wright! Monarch Floral Design whipped up the most darling bouquet bursting with fresh, romantic blooms and tied together with a gossamer silk ribbon. From the Photographer, Courtney Leigh Photography: I wanted to shoot something different and while this is definitely a creative shoot, I feel like it gives brides something to dream about. I hope this shoot allows brides the opportunity to think differently when it comes to their wedding. The location, the dress, the flowers, the shoes, all aspects that we went “simple” on but had a huge creative spin to produce incredible imagery. This one’s for the daring bride if you will. In a time of Covid and Micro weddings, I think it’s important for bride’s to see that a simple celebration can still be incredibly beautiful and epic.
